Ingredients for preparing Sambar Powder
- Coriander Seeds (Malli) – 2 cups
- Red Gram (Thuvaram Parippu) – ½ cup
- Split bengal gram – ¼ cup
- Fenugreek Seeds(Uluva) – 2 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds – 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1 tbsp
- Dry Red Chillies – ¼ cup
- Peppercorns – 2 tbsp
- Curry Leaves – 2 stalks
- Turmeric Powder – 1½ tbsp
Steps for preparing Sambar Powder
- Wash and wipe the curry leaves dry.
- Roast all the ingredients in a pan for 2 minutes.
- Grind all the ingredients into a fine powder.
